Exam Pattern

Stage I

  • Part A General Studies : 100 Questions, 200 Marks, 90 Minutes

  • Part C Translation Test : about 250 words from Shorthand to English on computer, 100 Marks, 15 Minutes, pass marks 50

Stage II and Stage III

  • Shorthand Dictation Test : about 500 English words in 5 minutes, typed on computer in 30 minutes, 200 Marks, pass marks 160
  • Stage II : 10 times the vacancies of each category, on Stage I marks
  • Interview : 75 Marks, 3 times the vacancies, on Stage I and II marks

  • Exam Cities : 10 cities of Uttar Pradesh: Agra, Moradabad, Bareilly, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Noida, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Lucknow and Varanasi

How to Check Allahabad High Court Private Secretary Exam City

  1. Open the High Court website allahabadhighcourt.in and click Recruitment, or use the Exam City link below.
  2. Open the city intimation notice for the Private Secretary Grade-I Recruitment Examination-2026 and click the city slip link in it.
  3. Log in with your Application Number; your date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format is the first-time password.
  4. Change the password when the portal asks: at least 8 characters with capital and small letters, a number and a symbol.
  5. Check your exam city and download the city slip; the exact centre comes only on the admit card.
  6. Paid the fee but got no city slip? Contact the High Court as given in the city intimation notice.
  7. Carry the printed admit card, two photos as in the form, the ID used in the form and one more original photo ID.
