Salary & Pay Scale Details
- Probationary Engineer (E-II Grade) : ₹40,000 – 1,40,000 (IDA, 3% annual increment); scale due for revision from 01/01/2027
- CTC : about ₹13 lakh, as given in the notice
- Allowances : DA, HRA, Conveyance Allowance, Performance Related Pay and Medical Reimbursement as admissible
- Training : 6 months · Service Agreement : 2 years, ₹2,00,000 on breach · Posting : any BEL unit or office in India

Exam Pattern
- Computer Based Test : 125 Questions (100 Technical, 25 General Aptitude and Reasoning), 1 mark each, 120 minutes
- Negative Marking : 1/4 mark for each wrong answer; paper in English and Hindi
- Qualifying Marks (CBT and Interview separately) : General / OBC / EWS 35%, SC / ST / PwBD 30%
- Interview : 1:5 shortlisting, discipline wise and category wise; weightage CBT 85 and Interview 15

Application Process
- Open the Apply Online link below (also on the BEL Job Notifications page) and click Register.
- Enter your details with a personal email ID and mobile number, and verify both with the OTPs sent to them.
- Note the Application Sequence Number (User ID) and Password sent by email and SMS, then log in and click Go To Application.
- Fill personal, communication and qualification details and choose 5 test centres; the category cannot be changed later.
- Upload a recent photo with white background (100-200 KB) and signature in black ink (80-150 KB), both in JPG.
- Check the Preview and click Submit; the form cannot be edited after this, then pay the fee on the SBI e-Pay Lite page.
- Print the application form with the PRINT button and keep it; do not send it to BEL.
