Application Fee

• The spot admission notice sets no new form or fee; only candidates who paid the CAF fee can apply.

Age Limit & Selection Process

• Age Limit: Minimum 17 years as on 01/01/2026 for all categories. The notice sets no maximum age.
• Selection Process: Application at the Institute → Provisional Merit List by D.El.Ed Joint Entrance Exam 2026 Rank → Objections → Final Merit List → Admission → Waiting List.

Seat Details – Total Vacant Seats – 10970

• Passed the D.El.Ed Joint Entrance Exam 2026 and 12th (+2) or equivalent with at least 50% marks (5% relaxation for reserved categories except EWS, and differently abled)
• Submitted the CAF with fee on bsebdeled.com, and not selected in any round, not admitted in the allotted institute, or admission cancelled for not paying the remaining fee
• Not eligible if already admitted in any government or private D.El.Ed institute

Course Details & Fee Structure

• Course : D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education), 2 years, session 2026-28.
• Institutes : NCTE-recognised private (non-government) training institutes affiliated to BSEB.
• Maximum Fee : ₹60,000/- per year, ₹1,20,000/- for the full course, as fixed by the Bihar Education Department; institutes cannot charge more.
• Seats are normally 50% Science and 50% Arts / Commerce; for spot admission a vacant seat may go to the other stream.

How to Apply for Spot Admission

1. Check the institute-wise vacant seats on bsebdeled.com or in the vacant seats list linked below.
2. Download your filled Common Application Form (CAF) from bsebdeled.com using your Reference Number.
3. Choose a private institute with vacant seats; there is no online seat allotment in this round.
4. Submit your application at that institute with the CAF, entrance exam score card and self-attested copies of educational and reservation certificates.
5. Collect the receipt with your application serial number; the institute checks your CAF number to confirm you are not admitted elsewhere.
6. Check the provisional merit list on the institute’s notice board and give any objection in writing at the institute.
7. If your name is in the final merit list, take admission at the institute before the last date; unfilled seats go to the waiting list.
