Age Limit & Selection Process

• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years as on 01/08/2026. Age relaxation applicable as per Bank of Baroda / Government rules.
• Selection Process: Online Examination → Local Language Proficiency Test (where applicable) → GD/PI and/or Other Test/Assessment → Final Selection.

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
• Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience as an Officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank listed in the Second Schedule of the Reserve Bank of India.
• Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding the local language of the State applied for.
• Preferred Certifications: IC 38, NISM Series V-A, NISM Series XXI-A and NISM Series XIII.

Salary & Pay Scale Details

• Local Bank Officer (JMG/S-I): ₹48,480 – ₹85,920.
• The detailed scale is ₹48,480 – 2,000 (7) – ₹62,480 – 2,340 (2) – ₹67,160 – 2,680 (7) – ₹85,920.
• One advance increment will be granted to selected candidates having one year or more experience as an Officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank.
• Salary and other emoluments will be governed by the applicable industry-level bipartite settlement and Joint Note.
• Allowances and benefits will be applicable as per Bank policies.

Exam Pattern

Online Examination

• Mode: Online Examination.
• Total Questions: 120.
• Total Marks: 120.
• Total Duration: 120 Minutes.
• Sectional Timing: 30 Minutes for each section.
• Negative Marking: 0.25 of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• English Language: 30 Questions | 30 Marks | 30 Minutes | English.
• Banking Knowledge: 30 Questions | 30 Marks | 30 Minutes | Bilingual.
• General / Economic Awareness: 30 Questions | 30 Marks | 30 Minutes | Bilingual.
• Reasoning Ability & Quantitative Aptitude: 30 Questions | 30 Marks | 30 Minutes | Bilingual.
• English Language: Qualifying in nature. Marks obtained in this section will not be considered for the final merit list.

Other Selection Stages

• Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Candidates shortlisted in the Online Examination will have to qualify the LPT for the State applied for, unless exempted by producing a 10th or 12th marksheet/certificate showing the specified local language as a subject.
• GD / PI / Other Assessment: The Bank may conduct Group Discussion, Personal Interview, Psychometric Test, Multiple Choice/Descriptive Test or any other selection/shortlisting methodology as applicable.
• The Bank reserves the right to modify the examination or selection process.

Exam Centers

• Online Test: The examination will be conducted at various centres across India as per the tentative list given in the notification.
• Final Centre: The allotted examination centre and venue will be mentioned in the call letter.
• GD / Interview: Centres will be decided later by the Bank based on administrative feasibility.
• No request for change of examination/interview centre will be entertained.
