Age Limit & Selection Process

• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years (as on 01/01/2025), Maximum Age (Chhattisgarh Domicile): 35 Years.
• Age Relaxation (CG Domicile): OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 05 Years, SC / ST – 05 Years, Local Women (All Categories) – 10 Years, PwD (Physically Disabled)- 05 Years, Ex-Servicemen- 03 Years (after deducting service period)
• Note: The cumulative age with all relaxations cannot exceed 45 years.
• Selection Process: Prelims (Qualifying – 400 Marks) + Mains (1400 Marks) + Interview (100 Marks), Final Merit Prepared based on a combined score of 1500 Marks (Mains 1400 + Interview 100).

Salary & Pay Scale Details

• Various Posts: Level 12 (Group A) – ₹56,100 – 1,77,500/- | Level 6-9 (Group B) – ₹25,300 – 1,14,800/-

Exam Pattern

• Prelims (Qualifying – 400 Marks): Consists of two objective papers: General Studies (200 Marks) and Aptitude Test (200 Marks).
• Negative Marking: 1/3 (0.66 marks) for every incorrect answer. This stage is purely for screening; marks are not counted toward the final merit.
• Duration: 2 Hours Each Paper

• Mains (1400 Marks): Comprises 7 descriptive papers, each carrying 200 Marks. Covers Language, Essay writing, and 5 General Studies papers (History, Science, Geography, Math, Philosophy, etc.).
• Duration: 3 Hours.

• Interview (100 Marks): A personality assessment for those who clear the Mains.
• Final Merit: Prepared out of 1500 Marks (Mains 1400 + Interview 100).
