- Selection Process: Written Exam (OMR) → Physical Measurement (Home and Police posts only) → Document Verification → Medical Exam.

- Steno Typist, Assistant Grade 3, Registration Clerk, ASI : Level 4, ₹19,500 – 62,000

- Part 1 – General Knowledge of Computer : 20 Questions, 20 Marks
- Part 2 (A) – General Studies : 20 Questions, 20 Marks
- Part 2 (B) – General Knowledge of Chhattisgarh : 20 Questions, 20 Marks
- Part 3 – General Mental Ability : 10 Questions, 10 Marks
- Part 4 – General Mathematics : 10 Questions, 10 Marks
- Part 5 – General Hindi : 10 Questions, 10 Marks
- Part 6 – General English : 10 Questions, 10 Marks
- Total 100 Questions, 100 Marks, 2 hours; objective type on OMR sheet, in Hindi and English
- Negative marking : 1/4 mark for each wrong answer
- Minimum qualifying marks : General 33%, reserved categories and PwD 23%

- Create your one-time CGSSB profile (Profile Registration) with mobile OTP and email, and upload a live photo by webcam or mobile camera.
- Log in to the CGSSB candidate portal and open the Group 2 Sub Group-02 (G20227) application form.
- Answer Yes or No for each qualification and physical standard; only the posts you are eligible for are shown.
- Select post codes in your order of priority (post and department); this order cannot be changed later.
- Choose your preferred exam district, ask for a scribe if needed, accept the declaration and confirm.
- Pay the fee through Payment Gateway I or II, then click Submit; without Submit the form stays incomplete.
- Print the submitted form; any mistake can be corrected online, for a fee, only in the correction window.
