Age Limit & Selection Process

• Age Limit: Minimum No Age Limit and Maximum No Age Limit (as on 01/08/2026) for UG; For PG, as per Bar Council rules
• Selection Process: Written Exam (CLAT) - 100% Weightage, followed by Counseling and Seat Allotment based on Merit List

Course Details - Total Seats - Approx 3500+ (Across NLUs)

• Passed 10+2 or Equivalent with Minimum 45% Marks (40% for SC/ST)
• Appearing Candidates Eligible
• No Upper Age Limit

• Passed LL.B. or Equivalent with Minimum 50% Marks (45% for SC/ST)
• Appearing Candidates Eligible
• No Upper Age Limit

Course Details & Fee Structure

• UG Program: 5 Years Duration, Integrated Law Curriculum including Subjects like Constitutional Law, Contracts, etc.
• PG Program: 1 Year Duration, Specialized LLM in Various Fields
• Fee Structure: Varies by NLU (Approx ₹1,00,000 - ₹2,50,000 per Annum); Hostel Fees Extra (₹50,000 - ₹1,00,000)
• Scholarships: Available for Meritorious and Economically Weaker Students through NLUs

Exam Pattern & Competition Analysis

• Exam Type: Offline Pen-Paper Based
• Total Questions: 120 Questions for 120 Marks
• Duration: 2 Hours
• Negative Marking: 0.25 Marks Deducted for Each Wrong Answer
• Competition Ratio: Approximately 1:20 (High competition)
• Preparation Time: 6-12 months recommended for comprehensive preparation
