  • Admission to 24 NLUs for BA LLB, BBA LLB, etc.
Postgraduate (1-Year LL.M.)
  • LL.B. or equivalent with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)
  • No upper age limit; candidates appearing in qualifying exam eligible
  • Admission to specialized LLM programs in NLUs
  • Admission is based solely on CLAT 2027 Rank.
  • Counselling is conducted through a Centralized Online Counselling process.
  • Candidates can choose multiple participating NLUs during counselling.
  • Seat allotment is based on CLAT Rank, Category, Reservation, NLU Preference, and Seat Availability.
  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria at the time of admission.

  • Admission: Through CLAT PG 2027
  • Fee Structure: Varies by Participating NLU (Approximately ₹1 Lakh to ₹3.5 Lakh per year)

Exam Pattern

  • Exam Mode: Offline (Pen & Paper)
  • Question Type: Objective Type (MCQs)
  • Total Questions: 120
  • Total Marks: 120
  • Exam Duration: 2 Hours
  • Medium: English
  • Marking Scheme: +1 Mark for each correct answer and -0.25 Mark for each incorrect answer
  • Sections (UG): English Language, Current Affairs & GK, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques
  • PG Exam: Questions based on Constitutional Law and other core law subjects.
