Age Limit & Selection Process- Age Limit: There is NO minimum age limit to appear in CTET.
- Candidates of any age who meet the educational qualifications are eligible to apply.
This is confirmed from the official CTET notification and CBSE guidelines. - Selection Process: Written Examination (Paper I for Classes I-V, Paper II for Classes VI-VIII, or Both); Qualifying Marks: 60% for General, 55% for Reserved Categories.
CTET is a national level eligibility exam conducted by CBSE to decide whether a person is eligible to be appointed as a teacher in: - Kendriya Vidyalaya (KVS)
- Navodaya Vidyalaya (NVS)
- Central Government schools
- Many State Government & aided schools
- Private schools that accept CTET
