Age Limit & Selection Process
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years as on 11/12/2026 (JE, New Delhi Municipal Council : 18-32 years). Relaxation : SC / ST 5 years, OBC (Delhi) 3 years, PwBD 10 years, others as per rules.
- Selection Process: JE : Tier-I (qualifying) → Tier-II → e-Dossier and Document Verification. MTS : One Tier Written Exam → e-Dossier and Document Verification.

Salary & Pay Scale Details
- Junior Engineer (NDMC, DAMB, MCD, DUSIB) : Level 6, ₹35,400 – 1,12,400, Group B
- Junior Engineer (Delhi Transco Limited) : Level 8, ₹52,000 – 1,51,100, Group B
- Multi-Tasking Staff (all departments) : Level 1, ₹18,000 – 56,900, Group C
- Pay scales as given in the advertisement; for the Agricultural Marketing Board JE post it gives the old scale ₹9,300 – 34,800 + Grade Pay ₹4,200 (Level 6)

Exam Pattern
- Negative marking : 0.25 mark for a wrong 1-mark question, 0.50 mark for a wrong 2-mark question
- Minimum qualifying marks : General / EWS 40%, OBC (Delhi) 35%, SC / ST / PwBD 30%

Junior Engineer (809/26)
- Tier-I (2 hours), Section A – General Awareness, Reasoning, Arithmetic, Hindi, English : 100 Questions, 100 Marks
- Tier-I, Section B – Electrical Engineering : 100 Questions, 100 Marks
- Tier-II (2 hours 30 minutes), Part I – Electrical Engineering : 100 Questions of 1 mark, 100 Marks
- Tier-II, Part II – Application of concepts : 50 Questions of 2 marks, 100 Marks

MTS (810/26)
- One Tier exam, 2 hours
- General Awareness, Reasoning, Arithmetic, Hindi, English : 40 Marks each
- Total : 200 Questions, 200 Marks

- Delhi / NCR or any other state, as decided by DSSSB

Application Process
- Register once on the DSSSB OARS portal dsssbonline.nic.in; candidates already registered log in with their existing ID.
- For registration, keep a scanned photo ID (PAN, Voter ID, Driving Licence or Passport) of 15-60 KB; Aadhaar needs no upload.
- Verify your mobile and email by OTP; name, gender and father’s name cannot be edited after registration.
- Log in and apply under Advertisement No. 06/2026 for Post Code 809/26 (JE) or 810/26 (MTS).
- Fill the form, select your category carefully and upload a clear recent colour photo with a white background and signature.
- Pay the fee through SBI e-Pay only and submit; no correction is allowed after submission.
- Take a printout of the submitted application form for your records.
