Age Limit & Selection Process

• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 42 years. Age relaxation as per rules.
• Selection Process: The final merit list is strictly based on the following weightage.
  • Stage 1: Screening Test >> 100 MCQs (Qualifying Only).
  • Stage 2: Subject Knowledge Test >> 87.5% Weightage (150 Marks).
  • Stage 3: Interview / Viva-Voce >> 12.5% Weightage.
  • Final Merit: Calculated from Stage 2 + Stage 3 scores.

Exam Pattern

Stage-I: Screening Test (Qualifying)

• Nature: Objective Type (MCQs)
• Total Questions: 100
• Total Marks: 100
• Duration: 2 Hours (120 Minutes)
• Negative Marking: 0.25 Marks deducted for each wrong answer.
• Rule of 5th Option: You must bubble the 5th option (E) if you do not want to attempt a question. Failure to bubble any option results in a 0.25 mark deduction.
• Qualifying Marks: Minimum 25% to be considered for the next stage.
• Purpose: To shortlist candidates (usually 4 times the number of vacancies) for the next round.

Stage-II: Subject Knowledge Test (87.5% Weightage)

• Exam Date: May 17, 2026 (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
• Admit Card: Released on May 11, 2026.
• Nature: Descriptive (Pen & Paper / Subjective)
• Total Marks: 150
• Duration: 3 Hours (180 Minutes)
• Medium: English Language only.
• Qualifying Marks: Minimum 35% required to move to the Interview stage.
• Weightage: This test accounts for 87.5% of your final merit.

Stage-III: Interview / Viva-Voce (12.5% Weightage)

• Weightage: 12.5% of the final merit.
• Criteria: Assessment of personality, communication skills, and depth of subject knowledge.

Final Merit List Calculation

• Subject Knowledge Test (87.5%) >> Interview (12.5%) >> Final Selection.
