Salary & Pay Scale Details

• Security Assistant / Executive: Level 3 - ₹21,700 - ₹69,100/- (7th Pay Commission)
• Special Allowance: 20% Special Security Allowance (SSA) on top of basic pay.
• Additional Benefits: DA, HRA (8% to 24%), Medical (CGHS), and cash compensation for duty performed on holidays (up to 30 days).
• Job Security: Permanent Central Government Status (Group 'C' Non-Gazetted).
• Career Growth: Security Assistant -> Senior Security Assistant -> JIO-II -> JIO-I -> ACIO-II.

Exam Pattern

• Tier 1 (Objective): 100 Questions | 100 Marks | 1 Hour
  • General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical/Analytical/Logical Ability, English Language, and General Studies (20 marks each).
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

• Tier 2 (Descriptive): 50 Marks | 1 Hour
  • Offline translation of a 500-word passage from the local language/dialect to English and vice versa.

• Tier 3 (Interview): 50 Marks
  • Personality test and assessment of communication skills.
