Salary & Pay Scale Details

  • As a Specialist Officer (Scale I), you are placed on the same pay scale as a Probationary Officer, but with specialized roles.
    • Revised Basic Pay: ₹48,480
    • Pay Scale: ₹48,480 – 85,920.
    • Gross Salary: ₹90,000+ (including DA, HRA, and Special Allowances).
    • In-Hand Salary: ₹74,000 – ₹78,000 (varies by city).

Exam Pattern

  • Phase I: Prelims (125 Marks - Qualifying)
  • For IT, Agriculture, HR, Marketing: English (25 marks), Reasoning (50 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks).
  • For Law & Rajbhasha: English (25 marks), Reasoning (50 marks), General Awareness (50 marks).
  • Duration: 120 Minutes (40 mins per section).
  • Phase II: Mains (60 Marks)
  • Technical Posts: 60 Objective questions on Professional Knowledge (45 Minutes).
  • Rajbhasha Adhikari: 45 Objective + 2 Descriptive questions (30 Minutes each).
