Age Limit & Selection Process

• Age Limit:
  • For candidates with 10+2 qualification: Born between 02 January 2005 and 02 January 2008 (both days inclusive).
  • For candidates with Diploma/B.Sc. in Pharmacy: Born between 02 January 2002 and 02 January 2007 (both days inclusive).
• Age Relaxation: As per Indian Air Force rules
• Selection Process:
  • Phase 1: Online Written Test
  • Phase 2: Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test-II, Document Verification
  • Phase 3: Medical Examination

Recruitment Details - Total Vacancies - To be announced

• For 10+2 Candidates: Passed 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from recognized board with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
• For Diploma/B.Sc. Pharmacy: Diploma/B.Sc. in Pharmacy with minimum 50% aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma/B.Sc. or Intermediate/Matriculation.
• Physical and Medical Standards as prescribed by IAF.

Salary & Pay Scale Details

• Pay & Allowances (During Training): Stipend of ₹14,600/- per month
• After Training: ₹26,900/- per month (Level 3, 7th CPC Pay Matrix) + Military Service Pay and applicable allowances (DA, HRA, Transport, etc.)
• Additional Benefits: Medical facilities, CSD facilities, Leave, Group Insurance, Pension as per rules
• Career Growth: Promotion through departmental exams and service length, with opportunities to become Warrant Officer, Master Warrant Officer, or Commissioned Officer (for eligible candidates)

Exam Difficulty & Competition Analysis

• Difficulty Level: Moderate to High – Syllabus covers Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Reasoning, and General Awareness
• Expected Applications: 2,00,000 – 3,00,000 (based on previous years)
• Competition Ratio: Approximately 1:1000 (depending on number of vacancies)
• Previous Cut-off Range: General: 40–55% (varies by zone/rally)
• Preparation Time: 4–6 months recommended for serious aspirants
• Success Rate: <1% (Highly Competitive, especially for Medical Assistant trade)
