Exam Pattern

  • Stage 1: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) - Qualifying Nature

    • Female: 1.6 KM Run in 8m | 15 Squats | 10 Push-ups | 10 Sit-ups
  • Stage 2: Written Examination (Qualifying)
    • Format: 50 MCQs | 30 Minutes | No Negative Marking
    • Subjects: Science, Mathematics, and General Awareness (10th Standard)
    • Passing Mark: Minimum 13/50 (25%) required to move to the next stage.
  • Stage 3: Music Ability Test (MAT) - Merit Basis
    • Tests accuracy in Tempo, Pitch, and Singing (one complete song).
    • Practical skill on any Indian or foreign instrument (tuning, sight reading, and theory).
    • Note: Standard percussion like Jazz Drum sets or Bugles are generally not accepted.
  • Stage 4: Medical Examination
