Age Limit & Selection Process

• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 24 years as on 30/11/2026. Relaxation : SC / ST 5 years, OBC (NCL) 3 years, PwBD 10 years (SC / ST PwBD 15 years, OBC PwBD 13 years).
• Selection Process: Merit List on qualification marks (no written test or interview) → Document Verification → Pre-Engagement Medical Examination → Offer of Engagement.

• Three-year full-time Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering (lateral entry allowed)

• Minimum 50% marks (SC / ST / PwBD 45% on reserved seats)

• Three-year full-time Diploma in Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Radio Communication, Instrumentation & Control, Instrumentation & Process Control or Electronics Engineering (lateral entry allowed)
• Minimum 50% marks (SC / ST / PwBD 45% on reserved seats)

• Full-time Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Minimum 50% marks (SC / ST / PwBD 45% on reserved seats)

• Full-time Bachelor’s degree in Commerce
• Minimum 50% marks (SC / ST / PwBD 45% on reserved seats)

• Class 12th Pass (below graduation)

• Class 12th Pass (below graduation)
• Skill Certificate of “Domestic Data Entry Operator” (training of less than one year) from an NSQF-recognised awarding body

Apprenticeship Details

• Training Duration : 12 months under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
• The qualification must be a regular full-time course, already passed on the cut-off date.
• Not eligible : BE / B.Tech, MBA, CA, LLB or MCA holders, those who did an apprenticeship before, or those with 1 year or more of experience after the qualification.
• Not eligible : qualification passed more than 5 years before the cut-off date.

Salary & Pay Scale Details

• Stipend : monthly, as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961 / 1973, the Apprentices Rules 1992 / 2019 and IOCL guidelines.
• The notification does not state the stipend amount.
• No other benefit such as accommodation, HRA, conveyance or medical facility.

Application Process

1. Register on the NAPS portal for the two Data Entry Operator trades, or on the NATS portal for the other five trades.
2. Log in to NATS / NAPS and apply to the IOCL opening with the Establishment ID of your state’s region, given above.
3. Check that your profile, category and aggregate percentage show correctly; only the NATS / NAPS office can correct them.
4. Then do Part-I registration on the IOCL Pipelines portal with the same email, mobile number and your NATS / NAPS enrolment number.
5. Log in with the registration number sent to you and, in Part-II, upload a photo (20–50 KB JPG) and black-ink signature (10–30 KB JPG).
6. Apply for one trade only and submit before the last date; details cannot be changed after final submission.
7. Print the application and check your email for the link to choose the places of document verification and training.
