Trade Wise Eligibility

• Three-year regular full-time Diploma in the same engineering branch
• Minimum 50% marks (General, EWS, OBC-NCL), 45% for SC / ST on reserved seats

• Class 10th Pass with a regular full-time two-year ITI in the same trade, recognised by NCVT / SCVT

• Regular full-time Graduate in any discipline
• Minimum 50% marks (General, EWS, OBC-NCL), 45% for SC / ST / PwBD on reserved seats

• Class 12th Pass (below graduation)
• Minimum 50% marks (General, EWS, OBC-NCL), 45% for SC / ST / PwBD on reserved seats

• Class 12th Pass (below graduation)
• Skill Certificate of “Domestic Data Entry Operator” (training of less than one year) from an awarding body recognised under the National Skill Qualifications Framework or another authority recognised by the Central Government

Apprenticeship Details

• Training Duration : 12 months
• Engagement under the Apprentices Act, 1961
• Training locations are only in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Daman and Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Choosing a location outside these states in the portal leads to rejection.
• Apply for one discipline code only. Applications for more than one code are rejected.
• Technician and Graduate Apprentice : qualification passed between 01/04/2023 and 30/09/2026
• Trade Apprentice (ITI / Data Entry Operator) : qualification passed between 01/04/2022 and 30/09/2026
• Qualification must be a regular full-time course. Part-time, correspondence or distance learning qualifications are not eligible.
• Diploma holders admitted through lateral entry (Class 12th Science / ITI, into the 2nd year) are eligible if they meet the marks condition.
• Candidates with B.E. / B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, ICWA, LLB or an equivalent higher qualification are not eligible.
• A candidate may do at most two apprenticeship trainings, the second in a different trade, with a gap of at least one year.
• PwBD candidates are not eligible for codes 101 to 111.
• CGPA or grade holders must give the equivalent percentage and a certificate from the university or institute at document verification.
• Completing the apprenticeship gives no right to a job in IOCL.

Salary & Pay Scale Details

• Apprentices get a monthly stipend, not a regular pay scale.
• Stipend : as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961 / 1973 and the Apprentices Rules 1992 / 2019 / 2025, as amended from time to time.
• The notification does not state the stipend amount.

1. Read the notification and choose one discipline code in one Western Region state.
2. Trade Apprentice (ITI and Data Entry Operator, codes 107 to 111, 113, 114) : register on the NAPS portal apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
3. Technician Apprentice (Diploma, codes 101 to 106) and Graduate Apprentice (code 112) : register on the NATS portal nats.education.gov.in.
4. Complete your profile 100%: personal details, education details and category.
5. Log in and apply to IOCL (Marketing Division) Western Region. NATS Establishment ID : WMHMCC000053. NAPS Establishment ID : E01172700332.
6. Submit the application before 04/11/2026 (05:00 PM).
7. Check your registered email and iocl.com/apprenticeships for the document verification call.

• Keep ready : PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, bank account with a cheque book in your name, and scanned education certificates.
• Documents at verification : 10th certificate or mark sheet (date of birth proof), caste certificate (OBC-NCL not older than 12 months from 30/09/2026), regular course certificate from the institute, all mark sheets, final certificate, bank passbook, Aadhaar, PAN, cancelled cheque and Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness Certificate.
• If the result date is not printed on the mark sheet, attach a certificate of the result date from the Principal.
