• Class-IV (MTS) / Sanitation Worker : Pay Level SL-1, ₹14,800 – 47,100
• Service conditions as per the rules of the Government of UT of Jammu and Kashmir

Exam Pattern

• Mode : Objective type, multiple choice questions (OMR), in English only
• Negative Marking : 1/4 of the marks of the question for each wrong answer
• Written Test Marks : UT Cadre 85, Division Cadre 80, District Cadre 75 (out of 100)
• Syllabus : JKSSB will issue it separately

Application Process

1. Open jkssb.nic.in and click “Apply for Various Posts” to reach the JKSSB login portal.
2. Click “New User / Sign Up”, register with your email and mobile number, and activate the account through the email code.
3. Log in with your username (not your email) and complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) form.
4. Open “Active Advertisement”, click Apply for Advt. No. 09 of 2026, and fill in details exactly as in your 10th certificate.
5. Give cadre and department preferences for Class-IV (MTS) and Sanitation Worker separately; preferences cannot be edited later.
6. Complete the live face capture with a webcam or phone camera (uploaded photos are not accepted) and upload your signature (10-20 KB).
7. Click “Pay Now”, pay the fee online and check that the fee status shows “Submitted” on your dashboard.
