Salary & Pay Scale Details- Anganwadi Worker: Honorarium – ₹11,500/- per month (As per the prevailing Madhya Pradesh Government honorarium rates.)
- Anganwadi Helper: Honorarium – ₹5,750/- per month (As per the prevailing Madhya Pradesh Government honorarium rates.)
- Additional Benefits: Performance-based incentives and other benefits, if notified by the Women & Child Development Department, Madhya Pradesh from time to time.
- Job Nature: Honorary engagement under the Women & Child Development Department. These are not regular government employee posts and do not carry Pay Matrix benefits.
- Career Growth: Eligible for promotion to higher Anganwadi positions, subject to departmental rules, vacancy availability, and eligibility criteria.

Work ProfileSelected candidates will be appointed in the same Anganwadi Centre/Gram Panchayat/Ward for which they have applied. Candidates must be female residents of the same village (rural area) or the same ward (urban area) where the vacancy exists. Women belonging to another village or ward are not eligible.
Anganwadi Worker - Conduct pre-school education activities for children aged 3–6 years.
- Monitor children's health, nutrition, and growth.
- Maintain Anganwadi centre records and registers.
- Organize vaccination and health awareness programmes with ASHA and ANM workers.
- Provide nutrition and maternal health awareness to pregnant and lactating women.
- Distribute supplementary nutrition under ICDS schemes.
- Coordinate with the Women & Child Development Department and local administration.
Anganwadi Helper - Assist the Anganwadi Worker in daily activities.
- Help prepare and distribute supplementary nutrition.
- Maintain cleanliness of the Anganwadi Centre.
- Assist during health camps, immunization drives, and preschool activities.
- Support record maintenance and beneficiary services.
