Physical Eligibility Standards

Salary & Pay Scale Details

• Subedar (Ministerial) Stenographer: ₹36,200–₹1,14,800/-
• Assistant Sub Inspector (Ministerial): ₹19,500–₹62,000/-
• First 3 Years Pay: 70% of the minimum pay in the 1st year, 80% in the 2nd year and 90% in the 3rd year.
• Additional Benefits: Other allowances and emoluments will be payable as approved by the Madhya Pradesh Government from time to time.
• Career Growth: Promotions and service benefits will be governed by the applicable departmental/service rules.

Exam Pattern

First Stage – Written Exam

• Mode: Online (CBT)
• Type: Objective/MCQ
• Total Questions: 100
• Total Marks: 100
• Duration: 2 Hours
• Correct Answer: +1 mark
• Negative Marking: No negative marking

Subject-wise Marks

• General Knowledge & Logical Knowledge: 40 Marks
• Intellectual Ability & Mental Aptitude: 30 Marks
• Science & Simple Arithmetic: 30 Marks

Second Stage – Practical Exam

• Total Marks: 100
• Duration: 1 Hour
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 30

For Subedar (Ministerial) Stenographer:

• Hindi Shorthand Dictation: 100 words/minute for 5 minutes
• Dictated passage must be transcribed/typed.
• For ASI (Ministerial): Hindi typing test is conducted, with two 600-word paragraphs, each to be typed within 30 minutes.
