Salary & Pay Scale Details

• Constable (Band): Level 4 – ₹19,500 – ₹62,000/- (7th Pay Commission / Third Class)
• Stipend Policy (1st Year Probation): 70% of the minimum pay scale base
• Stipend Policy (2nd Year Probation): 80% of the minimum pay scale base
• Stipend Policy (3rd Year Probation): 90% of the minimum pay scale base
• Additional Benefits: Standard allowances (Dearness Allowance, Medical, etc.) as approved by the Madhya Pradesh State Government
• Job Security: Permanent Government Job under the Visbal Headquarters, Madhya Pradesh Police Department
• Service Rule: Mandatory 5 years of active service in the assigned unit before becoming eligible for any transfer requests

Selection Scheme (No Written Exam)

• The selection is technical and consists of three distinct phases totaling 100 marks:

• First Phase – Skill Test (Screening): Qualifying only (No marks). Candidates are screened based on playing a chosen musical instrument from List A (e.g., Piccolo, Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone, Drums, Bugle).
• Second Phase – Band Playing Test (75 Marks):
  • Trade-Specific Test (List A instrument): 60 Marks
  • Bonus Marks: 15 Marks maximum (5 marks for each additional instrument known from List B like Keyboards, Guitar, Violin, or Classical Indian instruments).
  • Passing Marks: 50% minimum required for UR/OBC/EWS, and 40% minimum for SC/ST candidates.
• Third Phase – Interview (25 Marks): Covers personality, expression, trade knowledge, NCC, sports, and general awareness.

• Carry printed admit card and valid photo ID to the skill test centre
