Salary & Pay Scale Details
- Graduate Executive Trainee : E-2 Grade, ₹50,000 – 1,60,000, basic pay ₹50,000 during 1 year training
- After Training : E-3 Grade, ₹60,000 – 1,80,000, basic pay ₹60,000
- CTC : ₹14.50 Lakh per year
- Allowances : DA, Common Allowance (35% of basic), Performance Related Pay, medical, group insurance
- Bond : ₹3,00,000 for 3 years after training · No transfer for the first 3 years

Exam Pattern
- GATE 2025 Score : 80 Marks
- Personal Interview : 20 Marks
- Interview Shortlisting : 1:6 (or 1:10) of the vacancies, Area wise, on GATE 2025 marks

Area Details
- Area 1 : Thermal Power Stations in Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh
- Area 2 : Mines and Allied Services in Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Odisha
- Area 3 : Renewable Energy, Projects and Planning; Area 4 : Services and Support, in various states
- Apply for one Area only; merit lists are made separately for each Area.

Application Process
- Apply online only through the NLCIL website www.nlcindia.in, Careers section, once the link opens.
- Register only once with your GATE 2025 Registration Number, name, email ID and mobile number.
- Choose one Area; it cannot be changed after the form is submitted.
- Enter your personal, education, age and category details in the online form.
- Upload photo and signature (JPEG, 50 KB each) and certificates in the sizes given in the advertisement.
- Pay the fee online through SBI e-Collect before the last date.
- Submit the form and keep a printout for document verification.
