Application Fee

• General (up to 3 subjects) : ₹1,000/-
• OBC-NCL / EWS (up to 3 subjects) : ₹900/-
• SC / ST / PwBD / Third Gender : ₹800/-
• Each Additional Subject: General ₹400/-, OBC ₹375/-, SC/ST/PwBD ₹350/-
• Pay the Exam Fee Through Online Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI or Digital Wallet Only.

Age Limit & Selection Process

• Age Limit: No age limit specified by NTA for CUET UG 2025
• Eligibility: Passed/Appearing in Class 12th or equivalent from any recognized board
• Selection Process: Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by University-wise Counselling and Document Verification
• Exam Mode: Online (Computer Based Test) conducted across multiple shifts

Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme

• Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) - 50 questions per subject
• Marking Scheme: +5 marks for correct answer, -1 mark for incorrect answer
• Time Duration: 60 minutes per subject (uniform for all subjects)
• Total Marks: 250 marks per subject (50 questions × 5 marks each)
• Normalization: NTA will use normalization process for final scoring
• Medium of Exam: Hindi & English (except language papers)

• Difficulty Level: Moderate to High - Requires thorough preparation in chosen subjects
• Expected Applications: 15-20 lakh candidates across all subjects
• Competition Ratio: Varies by university and course (1:50 to 1:500 for top universities)
• Previous Cut-off Range: 70-95% marks for top Central Universities (General category)
• Preparation Time: 8-12 months recommended for comprehensive preparation
• Success Rate: 60-70% candidates qualify, but admission depends on university-wise cut-offs

• Pan India Centers: Examination conducted across 300+ cities in India
• Metropolitan Cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad
• State Capitals: All state capitals and major educational hubs
• International Centers: Available for NRI candidates (Higher fee applicable)
• Center Preference: Candidates can choose up to 4 preferred cities during application
• Final exam center allocation will be mentioned in the admit card
