Salary & Pay Scale Details- JRF (Junior Research Fellowship): ₹37,000/- per month + HRA (initial 2 years), increases to SRF (Senior Research Fellowship): ₹42,000/- after evaluation (7th Pay norms).
- Assistant Professor: Level 10 - ₹57,700 - ₹1,82,400/- (7th Pay Commission).
- Additional Benefits: DA, HRA (8%, 16%, or 24% depending on city), Medical, Pension (NPS), Research Grants, and Job Security in Central/State Universities.
- Career Growth: Regular promotions to Associate Professor and Professor based on Academic Performance Indicator (API) scores and years of service.

Exam Pattern & Competition AnalysisThe exam is conducted in a single 3-hour session with no break between papers. - Exam Type: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Paper I (General Paper): 50 Questions | 100 Marks
- Focus: Teaching/Research Aptitude, Reasoning, Comprehension, and General Awareness.
- Paper II (Subject Specific): 100 Questions | 200 Marks
- Focus: Domain knowledge of the chosen subject.
- Marking Scheme: +2 marks for correct answers; No negative marking.
