- Total Exam Duration: 3 Hours (180 Minutes) continuous session with no separate time break between the two papers
- Paper I (General Aptitude): 50 Questions carrying 100 Marks (Evaluates Teaching Aptitude, Research Capability, Logical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Information & Communication Technology (ICT), and General Awareness)
- Paper II (Subject Specific): 100 Questions carrying 200 Marks (Focuses deeply on the core subject domain selected by the candidate based on their post-graduation field across 35 available subjects)
- Marking Matrix: 2 marks are awarded for every correct answer
- Negative Marking Penalty: There is no negative marking for incorrect choices or unanswered questions
- Language of Question Paper: Bilingual (provided in both English and Hindi text). In case of any translation conflict or structural ambiguity, the English version framework takes absolute precedence.
