Selection Process
Multi-Stage CBT: CBT 1 screening exam with 75 questions covering Mathematics (25), Reasoning (20), General Science (15), General Awareness (15) for 75 marks in 60 minutes. CBT 2 with Part A (100 questions general subjects) and Part B (75 questions trade-specific) in 150 minutes total duration.
Aptitude Assessment: CBAT (Computer-Based Aptitude Test) only for ALP candidates testing memory, observation, perception, concentration, and decision-making abilities. No negative marking in CBAT. Minimum 42 marks required in each test battery for qualification.
Merit Calculation: Final merit based on 70% weightage from CBT 2 Part A marks and 30% weightage from CBAT scores. CBT 1 marks used only for CBT 2 shortlisting (15 times vacancies).
