• Fess Refund : General / OBC : Rs. 400/- will be refunded and Other candidates : Rs. 250/- will be refunded to the bank account after appearing in Stage I Exam.

Salary & Pay Scale Details

• Junior Engineer: Level 6 – ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400/- (7th Pay Commission)
• Initial Basic Pay: ₹35,400/-
• Monthly Gross Salary: Approximately ₹63,200 – ₹74,800/- (Depending on the city of posting)
• Additional Benefits: DA,HRA, Other Allowances: Transport Allowance (TA), Night Duty Allowance, Educational Allowance for children, and Overtime Allowance (where applicable).

Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT 1)

This stage is qualifying in nature; marks are not added to the final merit list.

• Total Questions: 100
• Total Duration: 90 Minutes (120 minutes for PwBD)
• Marking Scheme: +1 mark for correct | -1/3 mark for incorrect
• Sections:
  • Mathematics: 30 Questions | 30 Marks
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning: 25 Questions | 25 Marks
  • General Science: 30 Questions | 30 Marks
  • General Awareness: 15 Questions | 15 Marks

Stage 2: Computer Based Test (CBT 2)

Candidates are shortlisted for this stage in a 1:15 ratio based on CBT 1 scores. Marks scored here determine your final ranking.

• Total Questions: 150
• Total Duration: 120 Minutes (160 minutes for PwBD)
• Marking Scheme: +1 mark for correct | -1/3 mark for incorrect
• Tools: A Virtual Calculator is provided on the screen.
• Sections:
  • Technical Abilities (Branch Specific): 100 Questions | 100 Marks
  • General Awareness: 15 Questions | 15 Marks
  • Physics & Chemistry (10th Std level): 15 Questions | 15 Marks
  • Basics of Computers & Applications: 10 Questions | 10 Marks
  • Basics of Environment & Pollution Control: 10 Questions | 10 Marks

Minimum Qualifying Marks (CBT 1 & 2)

To be eligible for the next stage, you must secure the following minimum percentages:

• UR / EWS: 40%
• OBC / SC: 30%
• ST: 25%

• Three Shifts Daily: Reporting times 7:30 AM, 11:15 AM, 3:00 PM. Admit Card (released 4 days prior) mandatory with Photo ID
