Salary & Pay Scale Details- Section Controller Posts: Level 6 – ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400/- (7th Pay Commission)

Exam Pattern- Exam Mode: Online Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of objective Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Total Questions & Marks: 100 questions yielding exactly 100 marks (each question carries 1 mark).
- Time Duration: A single continuous stretch of 120 minutes (2 hours) to complete the entire paper.
- Negative Marking: A penalty of 1/3rd (0.33) mark is deducted for each wrong answer.
Section-Wise Question Distribution - Analytical and Mathematical Capability: 60 questions (60 marks) – Covering core quantitative topics like Number System, Profit & Loss, Time & Distance, along with Data Interpretation (Charts, Graphs, and Tabular data).
- Logical Capability: 20 questions (20 marks) – Focusing on Logical Reasoning (Syllogism, Blood Relations, Binary Logic) and Reading Comprehension passages.
- Mental Reasoning: 20 questions (20 marks) – Evaluating essential reasoning skills such as Coding-Decoding, Analogies, Series Completion, and Arrangement problems.
Stage 2: Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) - Eligibility: Candidates shortlisted from the CBT (at 8 times the number of vacancies) must appear for this stage.
- Purpose: A specialized psychometric "Psycho Test" to evaluate concentration, speed, spatial reasoning, and quick emergency decision-making.
- Qualifying Criteria: Must secure a minimum T-score of 42 marks in each test battery uniformly across all categories.
- Negative Marking: There is no negative marking in the CBAT stage
