Salary and Pay Scale Details- Pay Level: Level 6 (7th Central Pay Commission)
- Initial Basic Pay: ₹35,400 per month
- Pay Scale: As per the Level 6 pay matrix
- Additional Benefits: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), medical facilities and railway travel passes.
- During Training: Selected candidates will receive a stipend as applicable during the prescribed training period.
- Salary Note: ₹35,400 is the initial basic pay. The actual monthly salary may vary depending on applicable allowances and deductions.

Exam PatternThe RRB Station Master selection process includes a Computer Based Test (CBT), Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), Document Verification and Medical Examination. Computer Based Test (CBT): - Total Questions: 100
- Total Marks: 100
- Duration: 90 Minutes
- General Awareness: 40 Questions
- Mathematics: 30 Questions
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: 30 Questions
- Negative Marking: 1/3 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): - Candidates shortlisted from the CBT will appear for the CBAT.
- Shortlisting will be done up to 8 times the number of vacancies.
- There is no negative marking in the CBAT.
- The final merit list will be prepared with 70% weightage for CBT marks and 30% weightage for CBAT marks.
