Stipend & Benefits Details- Stipend: Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend at the prescribed rate during the apprenticeship training period, as per the prevailing rules and Railway Board directives.
- Training: Apprentices will undergo training in their selected trade under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- Certificate: On successful completion of training and passing the prescribed test, apprentices will receive a Certificate of Proficiency from the National Council for Training in Vocational Trades.
- Accommodation: No hostel accommodation will be provided; apprentices must make their own arrangements.
- After Training: Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee employment in the Railways.

Exam Pattern- Written Examination: No written examination
- Selection Method: Merit-based selection
- Merit Basis: Percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation (Class 10)
- Minimum Marks: 50% aggregate in Matriculation
- Trade-wise Merit: Separate merit lists will be prepared for each trade and community.
- Tie-Breaking: If candidates have equal marks, the older candidate will be given preference. If the date of birth is also the same, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier will get priority.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for DV and must produce original documents and a Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Viva/Interview: No written test or viva.
