Salary & Pay Scale Details- Lab Assistant (Grade-III): Pay Level 8 – ₹28,900 - ₹92,300/- (7th Pay Commission)
- Junior Lab Assistant: Pay Level 5 – ₹20,800 - ₹65,900/- (7th Pay Commission)
- Probation Period Pay: Fixed monthly remuneration for 2 years (approx. ₹18,500 - ₹20,000) with no allowances.
- Additional Benefits: Post-probation benefits include DA, HRA, Medical, and State Insurance.
- Job Security: Permanent State Government position with pension benefits (NPS).

Exam PatternThe examination pattern varies based on the specific stream (Science, Geography, or Home Science) you are applying for. All exams are objective-type (MCQ) and conducted in OMR mode.
For Science Posts (Code 01 to 05) - Structure: Two separate papers conducted on the same day.
- Paper I: General Knowledge
- Questions: 100
- Marks: 200
- Subjects: Rajasthan GK (History, Culture, Geography), Current Affairs, World/India GK, and Educational Psychology.
- Paper II: Science Subject
- Questions: 100
- Marks: 200
- Subjects: Biology, Physics, and Chemistry (Senior Secondary level).
- Total: 400 Marks | 4 Hours (2 hours per paper).
For Geography & Home Science Posts (Code 06 & 07) - Structure: Single paper divided into two parts.
- Part A: General Knowledge
- Marks: 100
- Subjects: History, Culture, and Geography of Rajasthan.
- Part B: Subject Specific
- Marks: 200
- Subjects: Detailed Geography or Home Science syllabus (Post-specific).
- Total: 300 Marks | 3 Hours.
Important Examination Rules - Negative Marking: For every incorrect answer, 1/3rd (one-third) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates must score at least 40% marks in the aggregate to be eligible for the merit list.
- 5th Option (Option E) Rule: Every question has five circles. If you do not know the answer, you must darken the 5th circle (Option E).
- Disqualification Warning: If more than 10% of the total questions are left with no circles darkened (including the 5th option), the candidate will be disqualified.
- Marking per Correct Answer: Each question carries 2 marks.
