  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • Professional qualifications like Medical, Engineering, CA, or Cost Accountant are also fully eligible.
  • Final Year / Semester Students: Can apply provisionally, provided they can offer definitive documentary evidence of passing their graduation examination on or before September 30, 2026 if called for the interview stage.
  • Age relaxation as per government rules for reserved categories

Salary, Emoluments & Service Bond

  • Starting Basic Pay: ₹48,480/- (with 4 advance increments added initially) in the JMG Scale-I hierarchy (Scale Matrix: 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920).
  • Allowances & Perks: Eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) or Lease Rental housing facility, City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), PF, NPS, Medical benefits, and Leave Fare Concession (LFC).
  • Approximate CTC: Close to ₹21.97 Lakhs per annum at the initial scale if posted at the Mumbai Centre.
  • Service Agreement Bond: Candidates must execute a mandatory Service Bond of ₹2.00 Lakhs committing to serve SBI for a minimum of 3 years from their joining date.
  • Probation: Selected candidates will undergo a continuous assessment framework for a 2-year probation period before final confirmation.

Exam Pattern

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (100 Marks | Online Objective)

  • English Language: 30 Questions (20 Minutes)
  • Quantitative Aptitude: 35 Questions (20 Minutes)
  • Reasoning Ability: 35 Questions (20 Minutes)
  • Penalty for Wrong Answers: -0.25 (1/4th) marks are deducted for each incorrect objective response.

Phase-II: Main Examination (230 Marks | Objective + Descriptive)

  • Objective Test (200 Marks | 3 Hours Duration):
    • Reasoning & Computer Aptitude: 40 Questions (60 Marks | 50 Mins)
    • Data Analysis & Interpretation: 30 Questions (60 Marks | 45 Mins)
    • General / Economy / Banking Awareness: 60 Questions (60 Marks | 45 Mins)
    • English Language: 40 Questions (20 Marks | 40 Mins)
  • Descriptive Test (30 Marks | 30 Minutes Duration):
    • Administered directly on-screen right after the objective test (typed on the computer).
    • Consists of Email writing (1 out of 2 choices), Situation Analysis (1 out of 2 choices), and either Report or Précis writing.

Phase-III: Final Evaluation

  • Includes a mandatory Psychometric Test, followed by Group Exercises and a Personal Interview.
  • Final Selection Weightage: 75% weightage is taken from the Phase-II Main exam score, and 25% weightage is taken from the Phase-III evaluation round.
