Salary & Pay Scale Details

• DEO (C&AG): Level 5 - ₹29,200 - 92,300/- (Entry Basic Pay: ₹29,200).

Tier-I Exam Pattern (Qualifying)

• Mode: Online Computer Based Test (CBT).
• Total Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
• Total Marks: 200 (2 Marks per correct answer).
• Negative Marking: 0.50 Marks deducted for every wrong answer.
• Duration: 60 Minutes (80 minutes for candidates eligible for a scribe).
• Section Breakdown:
  • English Language (Basic Knowledge): 25 Qs | 50 Marks
  • General Intelligence (Reasoning): 25 Qs | 50 Marks
  • Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic): 25 Qs | 50 Marks
  • General Awareness: 25 Qs | 50 Marks

Tier-II Exam Pattern (Merit Decider)

• Mode: Online CBT + Skill/Typing Test (Same Day).
• Total Questions: 135 MCQs.
• Total Marks: 360 Marks (for merit) + 45 Marks (Computer section - qualifying).
• Marking Scheme: +3 Marks for correct, -1 Mark for every wrong answer.

• Session-I (2 Hours 15 Minutes):
  • Section-I (1 Hour): Mathematical Abilities (30 Qs) & Reasoning (30 Qs).
  • Section-II (1 Hour): English (40 Qs) & General Awareness (20 Qs).
  • Section-III (15 Mins): Computer Knowledge (15 Qs) — Mandatory & Qualifying.
• Session-II (Skill/Typing Test):
  • Part A (DEO): 15-minute Skill Test (8,000–15,000 key depressions/hr).
  • Part B (LDC/JSA): 10-minute Typing Test (English: 35 WPM | Hindi: 30 WPM).
