Important Medical Standards

  • Eyesight: Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye) without any correction (no glasses or surgery like LASIK allowed).
  • General Health: Candidates must not have knock-knee, flat foot, varicose veins, or a squint in the eyes.
  • Driving License: Male candidates applying for Delhi Police SI must possess a valid LMV (Motorcycle and Car) Driving License during the PET/PST stage.

Salary & Pay Scale Details

  • Sub Inspector SI: Level 6 – ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400/- (7th Pay Commission)
  • Additional Benefits: DA, HRA, Medical (CGHS), Travel Allowance (TA + DA on TA), Pension (NPS), Group Insurance (CGEGIS)

  • Paper-I: 100 questions, 100 marks, 1 hour
    • General Intelligence & Reasoning – 25 questions
    • General Knowledge & General Awareness – 25 questions
    • Quantitative Aptitude – 25 questions
    • English Comprehension – 25 questions
    • Sectional time limit: 15 minutes for each section
  • Paper-II: 160 questions, 320 marks, 1 hour
    • General Intelligence & Reasoning – 20 questions, 40 marks
    • General Knowledge & General Awareness – 20 questions, 40 marks
    • Quantitative Aptitude – 20 questions, 40 marks
    • English Comprehension – 100 questions, 200 marks
    • Sectional time limit: 20 minutes for each section
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 mark in Paper-I and 0.50 mark in Paper-II for each wrong answer.
