SSC JE 2026 Paper 2 (Objective Type)

• Total Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Total Marks: 300 Marks (3 marks per correct answer)
• Total Duration: 120 Minutes (2 Hours)
• Negative Marking: 1.00 mark (1/3rd) for every wrong answer.
• Subject Focus: 100% technical questions from your chosen engineering stream (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical).
• Aids Allowed: You are permitted to use a Calculator, Slide-rule, Logarithm table, and Steam table for this paper only.

• Normalization: Since the exam is held in multiple shifts, SSC uses a normalization formula to calculate final scores.
• Language: The paper is available in both Hindi and English (bilingual).
• Selection: Paper 1 acts as a screening test to shortlist candidates for Paper 2. The final merit list is prepared based on the combined performance in both papers.+1

• All India: Major cities allotted based on candidate preference and availability
