Salary & Pay Scale Details- Stenographer Grade C: Level 6 – ₹35,400 - 1,12,400/- (7th Pay Commission)

Exam Pattern- Mode of Exam: Computer Based Examination (CBT).
- Total Questions: 200 Questions.
- Total Marks: 200 Marks.
- Duration: 120 Minutes (2 Hours).
- Negative Marking: 0.25 (1/4th) marks for each incorrect answer.
- Subject-wise Breakdown:
- English Language & Comprehension: 100 Questions (Most Important)
- General Intelligence & Reasoning: 50 Questions
- General Awareness: 50 Questions
Skill Test (Stage 2: Shorthand) Candidates who qualify the written test must pass the Stenography test: - Grade C: 100 Words Per Minute (w.p.m.) for 10 minutes.
- Grade D: 80 Words Per Minute (w.p.m.) for 10 minutes.
- Transcription: Candidates transcribe the dictation on a computer.
