Salary & Pay Scale Details

  • UP Police SI & ASI Salary (7th Pay Commission)
  • Sub-Inspector (SI): Pay Level-6, Basic Pay starts from ₹35,400
  • Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI): Pay Level-5, Basic Pay starts from ₹29,200
  • Both posts receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Travel Allowance (TA), Medical benefits, Pension and Group Insurance as per UP Government rules.

  • Exam Type: Offline (Objective MCQ)
  • Total Questions: 200 Questions for 400 Marks
  • Subjects / Sections:
    • General Hindi / Computer Knowledge – 50 questions
    • General Knowledge / Current Affairs – 50 questions
    • Numerical Ability & Mental Ability Test – 50 questions
    • Aptitude / Intelligence / Logical Reasoning – 50 questions
  • Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes

  • Preparation Time: 6 months recommended for comprehensive preparation
