Course Details & Fee Structure

The fees vary significantly based on the type of institution allotted during counseling.

  • Government Colleges: ₹10,370/-
  • Aided Colleges (Semi-Government): ₹19,000/-
  • Private Colleges:
    • Engineering Courses: ₹30,150/-
    • Pharmacy Courses: ₹45,000/-
    • Architecture/Applied Arts: ₹30,250/-

Hostel & Other Charges

  • Hostel Fee: Approximately ₹2,300 to ₹3,000 per year (in Government colleges). This does not include mess/food charges.
  • Caution Money: A one-time refundable deposit of ₹250 - ₹500 is usually collected at the time of admission.

Scholarship Benefits

  • Most students in government and aided colleges are eligible for the UP Scholarship (Dashmottar Scholarship), which often reimburses the full tuition fee and provides a monthly maintenance allowance for SC/ST, OBC, and General (EWS) students based on family income limits.
