• Additional Benefits: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), (Up to 24% for Class X cities like Lucknow/Kanpur, 16% for Class Y, and 8% for Class Z), Medical Allowance, Travel Allowance (TA).

  • Special Case (Mathematics Optional Only): 30 General Studies Questions + 70 Subject-Specific Questions.

Stage 2: Main Examination (Descriptive/Written Test)

• Exam Mode: Offline Conventional Pen-and-Paper Subjective Writing

• Total Marks: 200 Marks
• Exam Duration: 3 Hours (180 Minutes)
• Negative Marking: No Negative Marking applies to descriptive writing.

• Final Ranking Computation: Out of 225 Marks Total (Calculated solely from Stage 2 Main Exam score + Stage 3 Interview score).
• Note: Preliminary exam marks are strictly qualifying and are not added to the final selection list.
