Salary & Pay Scale Details- Pay Scale Hierarchy: As per the 7th Pay Commission guidelines, selected candidates join at Pay Matrix Level 10 as Junior Time Scale officers.
- Base Entry Pay: ₹56,100/- per month (Pay Band: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500).
- Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA)
- Deductions: Standard statutory deductions apply under the National Pension System (NPS), Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), and Group Insurance (CGEGIS).

Exam Pattern- Exam Mode: Offline, conventional pen-and-paper written test requiring handwritten descriptive answers.

- Total Marks: 600 Marks (300 Marks per paper).
- Total Duration: 6 Hours (3 Hours allocated for each paper, administered across two separate shifts on the same day).
- Testing Medium: The question papers are printed in English, and answers must be written strictly in the English language only.
- Discipline Specific Evaluation Matrix: Both papers focus entirely on the core engineering branch selected by the candidate during application:
