- Air Force Note: Candidates for the Flying Branch must not wear spectacles and must have 6/6 vision in both eyes.
- General Health: Candidates must be free from conditions like flat feet, knock-knees, squint in eyes, or any chronic skin/bone diseases. A detailed menstrual and gynecological history is also required for female candidates.

Salary & Pay Scale Details- Lieutenant (Entry Level): Level 10 – ₹56,100 - ₹1,77,500/- (7th Pay Commission)
- Stipend during Training: ₹56,100 per month (Fixed) for the entire duration of training
- Military Service Pay (MSP): ₹15,500 per month (Fixed) after commissioning
