Exam Pattern

  • Part 1 – Subject Knowledge (History, Polity, Geography, Economy, Rural Society, Current Events, Science : 5 each; Environment, Data Interpretation, General Hindi : 10 each) : 65 Questions, 65 Marks
  • Part 2 – Computer and Information Technology : 15 Questions, 15 Marks
  • Part 3 – General Knowledge of Uttar Pradesh : 20 Questions, 20 Marks
  • Total 100 Questions, 100 Marks, 2 hours; objective type
  • Negative marking : 1/4 mark for each wrong answer

Application Process

  1. When the form opens, go to upsssc.gov.in and click Advt. No. 26-Exam/2026 under Live Advertisements.
  2. Log in with your PET-2025 Registration Number using the OTP sent to your registered mobile or email.
  3. Your PET-2025 details, photo and signature appear on their own and cannot be changed here.
  4. Select every post you want; a post you do not select will not be considered for you.
  5. Fill your qualification details and the Yes / No option for preferential qualifications such as Territorial Army or NCC.
  6. Enter the verification code, Save and Submit, then pay the fee online or by SBI e-Challan.
  7. After the fee is reconciled the form is submitted; download and print it for document verification.
